Who We Are

The Sargodhians’ Institute for Professional Development (SIPD), a non-profit initiative of the Sargodhian Spirit Trust (SST), is dedicated to improving the quality of education in low-cost and rural public and private schools across Sindh. Established in 2017 in Rashidabad, District Tando Allah Yar, SIPD serves as a dynamic hub for empowering teachers, headteachers, and school leaders through high-quality and impactful professional development programs.

Committed to excellence and continuous improvement, SIPD is accredited by the Sindh Teacher Education Authority (STEDA) and affiliated with the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE). These accreditations ensure that SIPD’s programs meet rigorous quality standards and remain aligned with provincial educational priorities. Through these partnerships, the Institute delivers professional learning opportunities that are accredited, relevant, inclusive, and responsive to the evolving needs of the education sector.

SIPD offers a diverse range of in-person, online, and residential programs, including diploma courses, short workshops, and intensive certificate programs. Its purpose-built training facilities feature well-equipped classrooms, a modern computer laboratory, a well-stocked library, a dining hall, and comfortable hostel accommodations. Together, these resources create an engaging learning environment that supports both academic growth and professional collaboration.

Over the years, the Institute has delivered professional development programs for key public sector institutions, including the School Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD) and the Directorate of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD). It has also partnered with national and international organizations such as the Research and Development Foundation, Agosh Home, Public School Gadap, Thar Foundation, and Taaleem Foundation. Through these collaborations, SIPD has made a meaningful impact across multiple districts of Sindh, strengthening institutional capacity and improving classroom practices.
